Mark Hallock, President

Having lived in Wyoming and Pennsylvania, Mark is proud to call south Denver home, serving as Lead Pastor at Calvary Church Englewood since 2009. Mark earned his BA from Eastern University, his MDiv from Denver Seminary, and his DMin from Westminster Theological Seminary. Mark’s main ministry is to his wife, Jenna, and their two kids, Zoe and Eli. Mark’s passion is to see healthy churches reaching their communities around them for Christ. In his spare time, Mark could be found eating a burrito at Chipotle, exploring the latest music or theological book, or playing tennis or basketball.

Dan Freng, Vice President

Having served in full time ministry for over 12 years, Dan is the first lead church planting pastor sent out by Calvary Church Englewood to plant Calvary Church Littleton. Dan earned his BA from Southwest Minnesota State University and his MDiv from Denver Seminary. Dan’s main ministry is to his wife, Kelly, and their kids Noah, Jasmine, Isaac, Brian, and Shamie. Dan’s passion is reaching out to people in the community and connecting them to the local church. In his spare time, Dan could be found drinking a cup of coffee, reading, or watching, playing, or coaching sports with his kids.

Scott Iken, Secretary

Originally from the Northwest, Scott has served in full time ministry in Colorado and Wyoming for over 15 years, currently serving as the Lead Pastor to plant Calvary Church Gillette. Scott earned his BA from Northwest Christian College. Scott’s main ministry is to his wife, Pam, and their kids Addi, Seth, Reis, and Sadie. Scott’s passion is seeing people connect to God through worship and for that to overflow into them loving the people around them. In his spare time, Scott could be found writing music, cruising around town on his scooter, or watching & playing sports with his kids.

Steve Anderson, Treasurer

Originally from the East Coast, Steve headed west to Colorado to attend seminary and has now served in ministry here for over 10 years, currently serving as Associate Pastor at Calvary Englewood. Steve earned his BS from Gordon College and his MDiv from Denver Seminary. Steve’s main ministry is to his wife Sarah, and their sons, Wadely and William. Steve’s passion is to see healthy churches working to equip people to do the work of ministry in the surrounding communities. In his spare time, Steve could be found exploring the mountains, learning about the latest technology, listening to music on his record player, or roasting, brewing, or drinking coffee.

Matt Yonan, Chairman

Matt and his family have been a part of Calvary Church Englewood for over 5 years and during that time he has volunteered in many roles to come alongside the church in order to help make sure ministry is done well. A full time businessman, Matt’s role as volunteer is the Chairman for the CFC, making sure that the organization is making the most of every opportunity that God gives us to join in planting & revitalizing churches. Matt’s main ministry is to his wife, Amanda, and their kids Madeline, Dixon, Abigail, Jonah, and Fitsum. In his spare time, Matt can be found fly fishing in a mountain stream.

Jeff DeClue, Executive Team

Jeff is a pastor at Calvary Church Englewood. Jeff has a BS from Southwest Baptist University and a Masters in Education from Colorado Christian University. Jeff’s main ministry is to his wife, Tyann, and their kids, Garrett, Grant, Graham, and Grayson. In his spare time, Jeff can be found thumbing through the Cabela’s catalog.

Kevin Hasenack, Executive Team

Kevin Hasenack serves as Pastor of Calvary Wellspring in Aurora Colorado. He earned his BA from New Mexico State University in Communication Studies and his MTS from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (Now Gateway) in 2013. Kevin loves his wife of 14 years, Jenn. Kevin and Jenn have a sweet daughter Charlie. He loves doing intercultural ministry and connecting those that are far from Jesus to the Savior! Church planting is one of his greatest joys and wants to see Jesus become a non-ignorable part of the culture in Colorado.

Michael Morgan, Executive Team

Michael Morgan, hand in hand with his best friend, Kate, has worked in inner-city, prison, and urban church-planting ministries for the past 20 years, and currently serves at William Tennent School of Theology. Michael has studied at the University of Kansas, Gateway Seminary, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and the University of Leicester. He loves teaching about the majesty of Jesus and mobilizing leaders for kingdom impact. Whenever he gets the chance, Michael enjoys camping in the mountains with his wife and three amazing kids, Joshua, Abigail, and Patrick, reading about dead preachers, or watching college basketball.

Anders Snyder, Executive Team

Anders is a replanting pastor at Calvary Church Nampa in Idaho where he has been serving since August 2017. Born in Colorado Springs, as the son of an Air Force Chaplain he grew up living in many places in the U.S. and overseas. He has served the Lord in various roles from non-profit work, to international missions, to the corporate world. He earned his BA the University of Central Missouri and an MA in international studies from the University of Denver. Anders ministers to and alongside his wife, Jessica and their 4 children, Adrielle, Boden, Annika and Jovie. He enjoys spending time with his family, sports, and the outdoors.

Jeremy Conrad, Executive Director (Staff)

Jeremy and his family are members of Calvary Wellspring, where Jeremy serves as an elder. As the CFC’s Executive Director, he provides organizational oversight and strategic vision for the network. He is also responsible for leading the staff team, implementing scalable systems of congregational care, and overseeing daily operations. Jeremy’s main ministry is to his wife, Caroline, and their kids, Tatianna, Olivia, and Caleb. In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys team sports, collaborative board games, and anything that gets him outside with his family.

Luke Blaine, Director of Coaching and Leadership Development (Staff)

Originally from the east coast, Luke has worked in full-time church ministry for the last 15 years. He currently works on staff both as an elder/pastor at Calvary Littleton and as the Director of Coaching and Leadership Development for the CFC. For schooling, Luke earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina, his masters from Gateway Seminary, and is currently pursuing a doctorate from Denver Seminary. He is married to the love of his life, Erika, and together they love worshiping Jesus, studying and teaching God’s Word, drinking coffee, and exploring the great state of Colorado.

Julie Krening, Financial Coordinator (Staff)

Julie has been a member of Calvary Englewood since her move to Colorado in 2013. In her role with the CFC, she provides operational support by managing the processing and distribution of funds associated with the fundraising efforts of our pastors. She also tracks and reports all financial data to promote organizational integrity. In her free time, she loves to travel, read, and be out in nature.

Sandy Hayes, Connection Coordinator (Staff)

Sandy and her family have been a part of Calvary Englewood since July 2009, and she has served Englewood in a variety of capacities including as the chair of its personnel committee. In her role with the CFC, Sandy promotes congregational health and pastoral care through the coordination of care initiatives and other fellowship opportunities that foster connection between our churches. Sandy’s primary ministry is to her husband, Michael, and their kids, Levi, Anna and Selah. As a family, they enjoy hiking, skiing, fishing and cheering for her hometown Pittsburgh Steelers.

Shaun Garman, Director of Strategic Partnerships (Staff)

Shaun helps lead the CFC in the promotion and facilitation of initiatives and partnerships with like-minded leaders, churches, and businesses. Shaun was a successful business entrepreneur before planting churches in Portland, Oregon, and Ventura, California. For the last several years he has worked as an executive leader serving and nurturing ministries with the love of Christ. Shaun has been married to Daisy for 33 years and together raised 7 children and is overjoyed by 6 grandchildren. Shaun enjoys Jesus, family, deep friendships, the Dodgers, surfing, fish tacos, and film.
